Ok many of you might remember my post Nightmare at Inn on the Creek. If not, refer to the first post in October. Well I've had a few people ask me if we ever got our money back from the evil owner Ed. So today I have an update. Cole ended up having to do a dispute on his credit card because Evil Ed wouldn't return his phone calls. He had to provide documentation of the cell phone records showing what time we had called Evil Ed and a copy of our check-in form from the Marriott. Today we received a letter in the mail from the credit card company saying that the money had been credited back onto his card and the dispute had been settled! YIPPEE! Evil will not prevail!
Now if we can just finish up the case against the thief Dave Bell from Dave's Complete Auto Repair who still has not paid Cole his final paycheck from July 31.

Julie, Thanks for what you wrote on my blog. Dan thrives on reading the comments I get while he's "working" so he called me and read it to me and we were laughing so hard we both had to change our shorts.
And bravo on getting your money back. Maybe if you called the people with the paycheck and told them that bit about the fleas on the camels and the rage of all of us desperate housewives...
